Welcome

Students of 12th grade of Anne-Frank-Gesamtschule, Havixbeck, were engaged in the solar potential of the houses in Havixbeck in their “project week”. They worked with students of the institute for geoinformatic, university of Münster (ifgi).They also worked in cooperation with the local authorities (building authorities) of Havixbeck.
The students compiled a catastral map for selected districts with the GIS-software (geoinformaticsystem-software) “ArcGIS”, so that the citizens or homeowners can find out the solarpotential of their house. The result of this project, which was developed by the students, is presented as a map on this homepage.
